Northanger Abbey - Print of an illustration from Jane Austen's The Complete Novels

 This print is one of the 6 frontispieces that were made by Sarah Young for a limited edition of Jane Austen‘s The Complete Novels, published by The Folio Society, in celebration of the 250th anniversary
of the author‘s birth in 1775.
The wood blocks were cut, printed and then tweaked digitally for the illustration,
making the print a faithful reproduction of the actual illustration,
 this print is much larger though.
The shape echoes the smaller 5 linocuts that also illustrate each book.
These prints are beautifully made reproductions
professionally printed on Hahnemuhle 380gsm archival paper with archival quality inks.
The actual image sizes are approximately 30 cms x 18 cms,( 12 inches x 7 inches)
with an additional border - A3. They are all signed and titled.
We've found that it's better to send larger prints rolled in tissue in a sturdy cardboard tube. Please message with any questions you may have.
